Gekco Cold är en hybrid mellan flytande och fast krita som kyler ner dina händer.

Gekco Cold är en spännande produkt. Gekco tycker att cirka 30 gram Cold utblandat med dina vanliga krita i din boulder bucket, räcker för att hålla din boulder bucket kallare i runt 6-8 timmar på sommaren och runt tre dagar på vintern. Du kan också ta en pytteliten "nugget" och gnugga ut i handen för att sända enstaka problem eller leder. Om du använder den "nugget style" tycker Gekco att du kan få ut runt 30 användningstillfällen från en 60 grams burk.

Som sagt en väldigt spännande produkt. Det enda störiga är att det inte finns någon direkt info att tillgå om produkten (än).

HOW TO USE:

Mix with Gekco loose at around a 1:1 - 1:2 ratio.

For one session in a fresh bag we recommend a golf ball sized amount is crushed into your chalk bag 20 mins before climbing, mixed with loose chalk it will cool the whole of your chalk bag down.

The effect should last for around a few hours in a hot summer and a day in winter. This can be prolonged by keeping your chalk bag closed and out of the sun when not in use.

On lead: Use just like chunky chalk, crush the small nuggets between your fingers, if you’re warmed up it should be dry by the time your hand reaches the rock.

Bouldering: Use like normal chalk. During the session and in particular as a base layer.

For ultimate application, crush a chickpea sized nugget between your palms and rub in, focusing on high contact areas. This will give an even application that lasts for longer and penetrates deeper into your pores than ever before.

HOW TO STORE: ! VERY IMPORTANT !

Store unused COLD in an airtight container, in a cool dark place, most ideally, Refrigerated. Take out only what you need for that session and until use(if travelling for instance), keep in an airtight container. Ideally, bring what you need to the crag/wall in a small container like our 60g, leaving what you don’t, refrigerated at home in our 140g. Why? The cooling effect is the result of alcohol evaporating from our skin/chalk bag. If the alcohol has evaporated before you use it, it will not provide the cooling effect. Keeping COLD cold, not only enhances it's effect but prolongs it's life. In an airtight container, refrigerated, COLD will last forever, it will not lose its effect. Exposure to the air in a non-airtight container, unrefrigerated in a mild to hot environment are the factors which contribute to the product losing alcohol before use, rendering it less/non-effective. Treat it with care and it will reward you with sends.
